Zimbra is a Microsoft Exchange alternative, and offers a web-based interface as well as a desktop client that is cross-platform, working on Windows, Mac and Linux. Zimbra can also interface with other desktop mail clients including Microsoft Outlook, Thunderbird, AppleMail, Eudora and Mobile Mail Clients. There is also an interface built for full screen mobile phone browsers such as the iPhone.
